Queen Anne's Lace (verticle) 9x12 inch oil on canvas panel. The 2nd go at painting these beautiful wildflowers in the morning sunlight. Keeping their shapes simple and elegant. As a little tomgirl playing outside all day long my friends and I were always drawn to pick these lovely flowers. I remember noticing that each one had a tiny navy blue flower in the very center. I also remember not being fond of their scent which reminds you they are an unwanted weed to many. 😄 I love seeing them along ditches, road sides, empty lots and here in the woods. I am grateful for their beauty.
