Another wonderful morning out painting with Plein Air Austin. Only 3 of us showed up today at Boggy Creek Organic Farm, an urban farm in East Austin close to downtown. The flowers were blooming everywhere. It was just gorgeous! Although it started out a bit chilly for April, it was a beautiful day and we were soon shedding layers of clothing. After we finished we got to shop the organic produce. I bought the tastiest, reddest and most delicious strawberries ever! I also got fresh carrots (they were light almost yellow and tasted like a cross between carrots and parsnips - delicious), fresh fennel, kale, and French sorrel. Support your local urban farmer.
