This is another of the paintings I began in the Nancy Tankersley workshop and finished tonight. It was from one of her photos. The photo was in black and white and was very dark. Very little detail was visible. During the workshop we painted value studies from the photos painting them quickly and leaving them in the value study phase. I decided to finish this one to see if I could come up with believable colors. Nancy did tell us we could sell any paintings created from her photos, so I do have permission to use her images and sell the results of it.
