This is from the second day of Qiang Huang's 2020 workshop in Austin. I've painted this pitcher before, but I always enjoy it's lines even if it's in the background. Qiang was teaching us about painting metals, how metal is dark and only the highlights create the shapes. The little laquered doll was adorable and I had to focus on her.
