We painted this morning in the newly refurbished Wooldrich Square Park in downtown Austin. They have completely cleaned up the park. The grass is lush and green, the bandstand freshly painted, the walkway and streetlights look new. They even managed to run off the transients who had been the park's major feature until recently. One man was resting on the bandstand when I got there, but disappeared before I could get my easel set up. Although cool this morning, it couldn't have been a nicer day to be out painting in Central Texas.
