My third painting from Dutch Mountain Ranch. This lovely pond was on the end of the property closest to Enchanted Rock. We worked on paintings here until we started to lose the light and had to return to the ranch house for happy hour and dinner. All around this little lake (or pond if you'd rather) there were hundreds of tiny toads. Whenever I walked towards the water dozens would hop up and run into the water. They were tiny. Less than one inch. Very cute, though, warts and all.
