Saturday was a wonderful event "Art in the Park" at the Elisabet Ney Museum. Members of Plein Air Austin, The Urban Sketchers, and other interested artists showed up and painted around the building and park. The weather couldn't have been lovelier after the torrential rain and flooding Friday night. This was the second painting I did. I really wanted to capture the beauty of the wildness around the building. A few years ago they allowed the grounds to revert to natural prairie grasses and wildflowers.
