Media: oil on stretched canvas painted all around the edges

This was painted on location in Los Alamos, NM during the PAPNM Los Alamos Plein Air Event. The park in the center of Los Alamos (Ashley Pond Park) was beautifully shady and green. There was a lovely farmer's market across the park from where I set up. Before painting I bought a wonderful handmade face cream and some soap for my husband. What a lovely day it was, but before I got finished the clouds moved in, the wind picked up and most of the tents were taken down.
