I did this painting on a very cold, gray day at the Highland Lakes Marina on Lake Travis. It was day two of a three day landscape workshop with Qiang Huang. Everything seemed so gray, I think that's why the colors of the boats seem to pop. It will be on display in the Capitol Art Society Show at the Corridor of Art, 700 Lavaca, Austin from July 1st thru September 2. Open 805 Mon- Sat excluding holidays.
