Yesterday Plein Air Austin painted at the Bar K Ranch Park in Lago Vista the guests of one of our members who owns property out there. It's a lovely private park on Lake Travis with it's own marina. I stood on a boat dock by the boat ramp and painted the scene from there. A cold front came through just after I started and blew my palette cup into the water. Thank goodness it held nothing more toxic than walnut oil. The rest of my equipment held steady the rest of the morning. Really loving my new Day Tripper Easel. It's wonderful.
