This was the third painting I did for PAPNM's Los Alamos Plein Air Event. This was done from the front gate of Valles Caldera a beautiful National Park in New Mexico. The gates were locked when I got there so I set up for my first painting just outside the gates. I love Mullein - it's such a useful herb.
