I took this photo probably a couple of years ago. I always wanted to paint it but found it very intimidating. Three women on a bench (all women I knew). These ladies belong to my plein air group. I shot the photo while we were all in Georgetown for a paint out. Guess they were taking a break. Nancy Tankersley picked this photo out of a selection I took with me to her workshop, and suggested I try it. I'm glad she did. This one was done with only lemon yellow, alizarin crimson, cerulean blue and titanium white. She wanted us to try with a very limited palette. I think it was a wonderful exercise and I was happy with the results, although I doubt anyone will recognize themself.
