Plein Air Austin held their annual BBQ and picnic at Westlake Beach today. All the artists arrived early to paint, spouses and others arrived later to join in the feast provided by Hat Creek Burgers. The weather turned out perfectly. Cloudy and dismal all morning, the clouds broke up and the sun came out just about the time the painters began arriving. It was a great turnout and some fabulous paintings were made. Mine shows the entrance to the venue.
