Over Thanksgiving, we drove from New York State to Florida, taking the Blue Ridge Parkway through North and South Carolina. Ted fished with no luck, I painted with better results. My paints were manufactured as intense pigments applied to paper, the colored sheets bound into a booklet, very light and portable. When wetted with a brush it can be applied like traditional watercolors. The color, unless amply thinned with water, is highly saturated.
