These English riding spurs came from a pawn shop in Westcliffe, CO. Everyone rides western here explaining why they'd been for sale since 2011. I'd bee eyeing them that long and finally bought them a few days back.
I don't ride horse so why'd I need spurs? I bought them because of their exquisite shape and simple lines. They have no moving parts, they just slip onto the heel of a riding boot, a very small boot, in this case. They are sculptural to me, something appropriate to paint.
