Euphorbia tirucalli is also called pencil cactus and firestick. It is native to South Africa and has become popular here in the PHoenix area. Its colors range from green, teals, yellow, coral pink red and all their hues. It's quite striking. The most colorful time for this plant is in the winter in this region when it is most stressed. In summer it turns primarily to green.This painting is a part of my florilegium, a collection of botanical paintings
