The Adirondack Park in upstate New York is close to our home in Troy. We have a postage stamp-size cabin on 3 acres and get up there whenever we can. This landscape was painted in the late of fall and the gouache is a apt medium to use. The mediums flatness corresponds well with the flatness of oncoming winter before snow sets in.
