I have never been in Arizona during August. So, so hot at mid-morning in the Maricopa County White Tank Mountains. The light is bright white. Monsoon rains have greened everything up and made the air humid and thick. The landscape will dry as the day wears on until it rains again in the early evening and, perhaps, through the night. The rains will stop after several weeks and the temperature wil drop as autumn approaches. I have never been in Arizona during August.
