I'm in Arizona the next 10 days, doing taxes for Mom and my family. There's lots to do here so I've been slacking on taxes and painting, but here's my first one. I haven't worked with pastels for 18 months. I like the media very much, it forgives way more than my watercolors do. There's visual drama everywhere, and I'm taking pictures, cropping and getting really inspired to make a bunch more of these little vignettes.
