Noonday sun, hot country highway, and architecture. There's thousands of barn designs found coast to coast. Most are timber or wood framed and they date from the 18th century to 2022. Almost all are used for storage. The older barns are ornamented with the doodads common to the era in which they were raised. The new ones are mostly no frills, form following function. All are noble.
