You wake up early in your cabin before sunrise and prepare your morning coffee. You pour it into your favorite thermos mug and, bundled up with a warm jacket, you grab a folding camp chair and head down to the lake. You are alone and it is a quiet place. There is a slight breeze and you can hear the waves gently lapping the shoreline. It is a time for quiet thoughts - quiet prayers. It is a time to make a peaceful memory. Your painting will be inserted into a plastic sleeve and packed carefully in a standard no. 10 business envelope. It is also signed on the front and the back. Sometimes I use gouache (opaque watercolor) and/or colored pencils and pastel pencils in a limited way to enhance the painting.
