"In the Moment #5", 8" x 10" oil on panel. Unframed. I went back to the colour wheel for inspiration with this paintings palette, focusing on a complementary colour scheme of orange and blue. I let the blue marks flow where my eye felt the movement of the horse and used q-tips to remove and/or relocate paint in other areas. Q-tips are one studio tool I feel somewhat guilty over as I use many (😝) however, I have yet to find any other tool that replicates the effect. "In the Moment #5", 8" x 10" oil on panel. Unframed.
