I referenced an image of @missjoeybothwell as captured by
@narcissusholmes for this work. I had intended on painting a different
subject on a larger canvas today ... and indeed, I painted larger which I
enjoyed but in terms of the subject, I made a last minute switching of
gears from my intended subject when I saw this subject. What a subject.
In terms of color ... I've been pursuing exaggerated ones and seeing
what I want to see, as is encouraged by painter Milt Kobayashi. I'll
paint tomorrow what I had planned for today.
