This artwork is based on a painting by Fritz Thaulow (1847-1906). My idea was to take his painting and remake it using collage to see what the landscape would look like with the sort of "mosaic" effect that collage produces. Artwork was done on a 16" x 20" inch canvas board and is framed inside a Dark Frame which is 19" x 23" inch in size. (See 2nd photo) This artwork is based on a painting by Fritz Thaulow (1847-1906).
