Media: Watercolor 140 lb cold pressed paper
Size: 6x8 in
I started this painting by wetting both sides of the paper. I then painted the sky, leaving the dock and piling spaces white. You can see the water was painted using ultramarine blue which is a sedimentary pigment- so any recess in the paper’s texture show this. I started this painting by wetting both sides of the paper.
