I began this painting by pouring some Sennelier thalo blue paint on my paper and seeing what happened, watching it roll around and interact with some green and yellow that I sprayed on. Interestingly I started to see forms in what resulted- a woman swimming, an octopus-like creature. I also found it interesting that the blue paint receded as it dried leaving the color it intersected with, and leaving interesting patterns.
