Media: Acrylic On stretched canvas
Size: 11x14 in
On Hold
I had painted the cyclamen a few days ago, (# 252) and really liked how it looked so I decided I would try it a similar one in a larger size, and in acrylic instead of watercolor. I started on a stretchedbcanvas that had a poured painting on it, so it has interesting textures and a little silver. I painted the Leaves first, then the flowers, then the stems, the base and then I made the table color different than the upper background. I really like how the colors contrast with each other and other and all the movement in it from the flowers. The edges of the canvas are painted and it’s wired, ready to hang, or it could be put in a frame with an 11 x 14 opening, able to handle a half inch thick canvas.
