I recently discovered that the tiny grape hyacinth stem with 20-30 tiny orbs circling it, actually are individual flowers with a delicate white ruffled edging on each purple orb. They have a nice fragrance as well that some think smells a little like grapes. I, obviously, enlarged the orbs in this painting, which can be used as a 6x9 image, but also easily trimmed to fit into standard frames for 6x8 or 6x6 art.
