This plein air painting was done on the Nashua River at the Marion Stoddard park in Pepperell, MA. There is a large open body of water which supports fish, swans, algae and water lilies. Today there was a kaleidoscope of colors as some of the growth was green, other parts raspberry colored with sky reflections and shading added in. I like the 4x10 format as well.
