I started this painting with a gradation of green gray to purple and gray diagnally painted on the background. On that I started painting the three ornaments. Then I added the cranberry garland. I finished off with a balsam needles and the details on the ornaments. This painting reflects the joy and beauty of Christmas, and all the ornaments we have treasured and saved over the years.
