The vibrating colors of the zinnias and the hydrangea drew me to do this painting. I started with a cadmium red underpAinting. I ten painted the flowers and added the background at the end . I chose complementary background colors because the really bring out the flower color. This painting easily fits into any frame with a 6x6 opening or an 8x8 frame with a 6x6 mat.
