This painting showcases the miniature grape hiacynths and bluebells, just picked 2 days ago. Lucky because we’ve had snow the last two mornings, but we’ll see how resilient they are. Each little ‘ball’ that makes up the hyacinth is an individual flower bell, with a delicate gold fringe at the opening on the bottom. A great fragrance keeps escaping from these tiny blossoms.
