The lure of this story to audiences all over the world may very well be the sheer insanity of it all. None of it makes sense, fear often plays a role and all of the characters are ludicrous in some way. But now that the real world seems to take on these characteristics more often, I wonder how much of an escape this story is! In this painting, the March Hare sits expectantly in his tea cup, waiting for his unbirthday to begin, perhaps? The 2nd picture shows how this painting could look framed hanging in a farmhouse style kitchen, just for fun!
