I don't usually share my opinion on current affairs... but, in an earlier decade I was a librarian and have come to view books as sacred . With the current state of affairs in the U.S. where book banning is suddenly in the news with many books being singled out as objects to be feared or hated, I felt called to communicate my stance on the banning of books.
