Kate (Self-Portrait) is head 21 of my 100 heads challenge. I have been struggling to find time to paint this summer with my 5 year old daughter home all day and our new puppy, but I hope once she's back in school I can beging painting regularly again. As part of my 100 heads challenge, I am also challenging myself to do several self-portraits. These have always been difficult for me, possibly because I know my own face so well that it is hard to capture in paint.
