I enjoyed painting this scene of the highly eroded bank around the lake with its sandy shore, exposed tree roots, and reddish coloring. It was peaceful this morning with just a few boaters creating some gentle waves. - Kathe Altazan Lake Norfork is in Baxter County, AR having more than 550 miles of shoreline and covering some 22,000 acres.
