This painting took its own sweet time to emerge in its current form.. the first attempt happened two weeks ago and was abandoned.. but the pose as the expression kept beckoning me to return, as I had a vision of what I needed to happen. Finally, after another painting session, I brought it to a desired look, having fixed some anatomy problems and achieving a more satisfying brushwork quality.
