Media: Fused Glass Powder Sgraffito Drawing
Size: 5x6 in
'Camille Claudel' is a freehand fused glass powder sgraffito drawing, or 'frit painting'. To make it, I manipulated crushed black glass powder on sheet glass using a business card and a biology needle, then heated the drawing in a kiln to sinter the glass particles together. The drawing is mounted on black wood. Ready to hang. Approx. 5x6.
Camille Claudel was a french sculptor and mistress of Auguste Rodin.
