Media: Fused Glass Sgraffito Drawing
Size: 12x7 in
"Docked in Paris" is a fused glass sgraffito drawing, sometimes referred to by kiln glass artists as 'frit painting'. The drawing is created by manipulating powdered black glass on a sheet of ivory glass, using my fingers and corners of card stock. The glass is then fired in a kiln, melting the powdered glass drawing into the background sheet glass. This piece is framed to 7x12.
