Media: Multi Process Fused Glass
Size: 8x9 in
This is fused glass powder sgraffito drawing, which is made by manipulating glass powders on sheet glass, and then melting the drawing into the sheet in a kiln. All of the color is achieved by placing individual pieces of colored glass, called 'frit', on top of the drawing before it is melted.
This piece features small pieces of encased fine silver foil and filings that add sparkle and depth.http://www.modernancientglass.com
