This little Red breasted nuthatch has been hanging out at my feeder for about 2 months. He travels down to the Cincinnati area during the winter and stays for awhile. When it gets really cold here, he will leave for warmer weather. These beautiful little birds migrate down from the nothern United States and Canada. He feeds on a suet cake imbedded with crickets.
