Red winged blackbirds are the most enthusiastic singers. Their whole body sings. I thought this one was telling a story in song. I coated the canvas with a watercolor ground before floating acrylic inks over the surface and painting with acrylic paint over that. I've sealed the surface with several coats of gel medium and varnished over that. Some of the inks are iridescent. Red winged blackbirds are the most enthusiastic singers. Their whole body sings.
