Media: Soft pastel on Wallis Belgian Mist paper
Size: 9x12 in
Here is another reworked plein air piece for the first day of summer. I use an old toothbrush to remove some of the original pastel but I still have a ghost image to remind me of shadows, etc. Then I work with a slightly bolder palette to recreate the feeling of that time out in the dunes.
