It was a joy painting with friends on a sparkling mid-summer day at the Carquinez Strait shoreline, just south of Crockett in the San Francisco Bay Area. It was low tide and I was able to set up my easel on a little fishing beach dotted with old broken bricks, remnants of the brick factory that once thrived here. Nature and history mingle at this beautiful, inspiring location! Plein air study, acrylic on 12" x 12" Ampersand Museum Series Gessobord Panel, unframed.
