This original painting is an older piece painted for a special exhibit in Dallas, Texas. It’s based on Luke 8:4–8. It is a large piece 40 x 30 with sides of 1.5 inches painted black on a gallery wrapped canvas. This is my first painting posted in 2024 and I have not posted anything since October 24, 2023 and I haven’t painted since then. I have been taking a break, cooking for Thanksgiving and Christmas and recently studying and taking some urban sketching classes and working in my sketchbook.
