I have admired Tricia Adams work and signed up for one of her online workshops and this sunflower is the first paining I’ve done from the workshop. She painted the demo, and after we painted, we could send in our effort to her and she would critique and give us some suggestions for improvement. She was very generous and encouraged us to post our painting and sell it and as she hoped we earned our tuition back in spades. (this attitude is rare among artists who do online workshops. And one workshop I take online you can post your work, but they don’t want you to price it and sell it only if there is an inquiry. Some artist will not want you to even sell it and they want you to keep it yourself or give it away. ) The work is 14 x 11 with some pallet knife work the edges are painted black and I used the Golden Open acrylics for this work. Tricia Adams is an oil painter but her class is for acrylic work also.
