I have been enrolled in a fearless landscape course by Melanie Morris, and this is one of the last lessons that we were to paint a tree. I found a wonderful photo from the landscape reference photos for artists by Bob Obrian of the Willow City Loop that I used For my reference. It is an acrylic painted on a 11 x 14 x 1 1/2 depth gallery, wrapped canvas with edges, painted black and ready to hang.
