Media: Pastel on paper
Size: 8.25x11.25 in
The tide was out, so there were a lot of these long-legged birds rushing around to feed in the wet sand-- I believe this bird was a Stilt Sandpiper, which I painted because I wanted to capture the angles of its long beak and legs.
Soft pastel on Canson Mi-Teintes paper-- work will be carefully packaged with Glassine paper before shipping.
