I have titled this painting "Amateur" because it's a French word (and I just returned from Paris and Immersion in all things French and actually we share SO many words in common!) AND, contrary to how it is often used as a derogatory comment about someone or their work, it actually means: 'for the love of it'. And that is how I am painting in gouache these days, for the love of it, growing, and loving that first feeling of creating!
