Today is International Mental Health Day. I am thankful that mental health is being put on the same level as physical health. So today, I dedicated my painting to Anthony Bourdain. As I painted, I reflected on how perfectly he was named. Saint Anthony is the patron saint of lost causes, and dear Anthony B truly helped us "find" some stuff we lost. As he went around the world, eating, learning and listening to people in far flung places, he helped us recover civility and find the things that we share and that bring us together.
